Council#1830 Sponsered a Hero's Welcome Home Party!
As a council we sent care packages to OUR TROOPS in harms way. And On Spec Kyle Ferguson safe return home on leave from Iraq, the council sponsered his welcome party! The street was lined in yellow ribbons and American Flags and friends and family lined the streets waving American Flags donated by the Barstow Veterans Home as the soldier drove up after his father picked him up from LAX straight off the plane from Iraq as Maria Caryes song "HERO" played in the background it was an emmotional reunion! With alot of tears and hugs, and Kisses for this American Hero returning from the War. The family remains very greatful for all that the council has done for there son. But, we continue to pray for the safe return of all are young men and weman in harms way. And again we thank them for their service and for our freedom!

After 10 Months in Iraq Spec Kyle Ferguson came home on leave on March 26, 2005. His father picked him up from LAX and brought him home! The street filled with yellow ribbons and American Flags, and the streets filled with Family and Friends waving American Flags! As the Mariah Carie song "HERO" played in the background played! |

Alot of tears, hugs and kisses! As this soldier arrives to Hero's welcome!Remember last time he made the news he had been involved in the suicide attack that killed two members of his team one was his C.O.He servived with shrapmetal wounds to the face and shoulders and chest. |
